I have been fantasizing for my personal exhibition for years, But several factors helped to make it consider just over one hypothesis, a hope, a chimera.

Then there would be the logistical difficulties that an exhibition of textile art entails, all the more in my area. The spaces are relatively few, and in more than some cases they do not offer the optimal conditions capable of enhancing the works on display.
Finally, the element that has always penalized in Italy must be considered patchwork and similar, or the opinion that it is a niche activity, considered with benevolence as an "harmless" hobby femminile, which is not, It hasn't been for decades. As a consequence of this it is even more difficult to find exhibition spaces, At least for those who are not part of an association that has adequate means. Unfortunately my associative experiences were, Little, catastrophic, and not always because of me.
So it could be assumed that being alone, without hooks and without patrons, I have no possibility, But I discovered that I own a secret weapon. I will expose a dozen works (circa), which share the peculiarity of being almost all different from each other. The aim is to offer a panorama of creative possibilities ranging from figurative to abstract, varying the materials and techniques, From the simplest to the most complex, Almost an invitation to try, Because you are not born learned, But learning you grow up.
The exhibition will be held in the room on the road level of the Edilaa Architecture Studio, The same used for the exhibition of the "magical sewer", of which I wrote in the post Wish You Were Here.
